The Chico is our full-service hand wash and the perfect way to keep your vehicle clean.
On the inside, we vacuum, wipe down your dashboard, console, doors, and seats, and wash your plastic mats.
On the outside, we hand wash your vehicle and clean your rims and tires. All your windows are cleaned too.
This service takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. However, if your vehicle needs more than the allotted time to complete because of its condition (such as heavy dirt, pet hair, or stains), an additional charge will apply.
An appointment is recommended. Appointments always take priority over walk-ins for all our services.

CHICO
The Oreo, our mini-detail, is one of our most requested services. It includes everything in the Chico, with extra time and care on every detail, plus leather and plastic treatment. It takes about twice as long as a Chico because we concentrate on making every part of your vehicle look its best.
This service takes about 1.5 o 2 hours. However, if your vehicle needs more than the allotted time to complete because of its condition (such as heavy dirt, pet hair, or stains), an additional charge will apply.
This service starts at $100.

If you need your vehicle deep cleaned, this service will make you feel like you're driving a brand-new car.
We vacuum and shampoo your carpets, mats, seats, dashboard, console, and doors, condition all leather and plastic areas, and clean all windows inside and out.
On the exterior, we hand wash, clay bar, polish, and wax your vehicle. The clay bar removes contaminants from your paint and helps minimize light scratches.
This service takes about 8 hours. However, if your vehicle needs more than the allotted time to complete because of its condition (such as heavy dirt, pet hair, or stains), an additional charge will apply.
This service starts at $299.
We also offer additional services. If you don't see what you need, give us a call, and we'll be happy to help you find the right service for your vehicle.
About Us
Our Story
Welcome to Hector’s Car Wash & Detail, where quality, precision, and convenience come together. Whether you’re looking for a quick hand wash or a high-end ceramic coating, our expert team delivers exceptional results—every time.
- In August 2020, during the pandemic, Dolly & Hector started detailing from their home. They moved to the Carol Stream location at Army Trail & County Farm Rd, on October 1, 2021 and the second location on June 1, 2024. The second location is 5 min from the first, at the corner of North Ave & County Farm Rd.
- A fun fact, they named all of their detail and tunnel packages after their family pets. That's how they honor their furry family members especially those that have passed away. Ask about CHICO, OREO or Monster today!
- For package info, see the DETAILING and TOUCHLESS pages for West Chicago, or the EXPRESS SERVICES page for Carol Stream.
Our Commitment
- We're committed to providing an excellent car wash and auto detailing experience to both new and returning customers.
- If needed, and if staff is available, we can arrange a pickup and/or drop off of your vehicle from your home or office up to 5 miles at no additional charge.
